MOO-ther’s Day Weekend One | Black Rock Farm, Myersville, Maryland
This past weekend, Black Rock Farm in Myersville, Maryland, welcomed families and friends for our first annual MOO-ther’s Day pop-up event. Set against the rural backdrop of our rolling fields and charming Highland cows, guests enjoyed a unique celebration filled with hands-on activities, adorable photo opportunities, and cherished memories. Here’s what the day included:
Highland Cow Encounters
Visitors had the delightful opportunity to meet and interact with our gentle Highland cows. Brushing these friendly animals provided a calming and intimate experience, allowing guests to connect with the cows in a meaningful way. Our youngest calf, Baby Bruno, stole the show as he is just seven weeks old and already loves the hands on attention!
DIY Flower Pot Craft
After spending time with the cows, attendees participated in a creative DIY flower pot crafting session. This hands-on activity allowed guests of all ages to design and decorate their own flower pots, serving as a personalized keepsake to remember the day. The crafting station buzzed with creativity, laughter, and the joy of making something special together.
Picture-Perfect Moments
Our floral photo backdrop, featuring Baby Wayne, provided the perfect setting for capturing memorable moments. Families, couples, and friends took advantage of this opportunity to snap photos with our adorable calf, creating lasting memories of their time on the farm.
