Events can range from educational workshops, DIY classes, partnerships with other small businesses, mini photo sessions and more! All events will require tickets to attend to help us manage the number of people on the farm at one time. Highland Harmony | Yoga
Partnering with Abundant Life Wellness, this on farm event pairs an hour of yoga with an hour of loving on cows at Black Rock Farm in Frederick County, Maryland.
MOO-ment of Zen
Moo-ment of Zen: A Soulful Summer Evening of 9D Breathwork & Highland Cow Connection with Balsamic Moon Alchemy.
This evening on the farm will start with a session of outdoor 9D breathwork, led by Amanda, followed by hands on time with the highland herd.
Highland Cow Paint Night
Complete a custom Highland Cow paint by number kit while you are on the farm meeting real life Highland cows!
Luxury Picnic and Highland Cow Experience
We are sharing the peace and serenity of the farm by partnering with Eat Picnic Explore to host an evening that includes both a luxury picnic (60mins) and a chance to be hands on with our Highland cows (60mins)!

K12 Virtual Field Trip | Caring for Highland Cows 101
Join us for a virtual field trip for students k-12 to learn all about Caring for Highland Cows!! We will be streaming live from the barn and can’t wait to share more about what it takes to care for cows! This is a free event for students held via zoom, registration is required!

Fall in love this Valentine's for a pop-up on farm event featuring cows and crafts hosted by Black Rock Farm in Myersville, Maryland.

Event Details:
This “pop-up” style event will allow you to share your love with Highland calves this Valentine’s Day! Grab a ticket to brush highland calves, take photos with Baby Wayne at the backdrop and make a highland themed keepsake craft! $12 per person (3yo and under are free)
Event Requirements:
One ticket per person required, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, no pets, closed toe shoes required by all guests.
Valentine's Mini Photo Sessions
Valentine’s Mini Photo Sessions with Nikki Stephens Photography!!
Get ready for some Highland Calf Kisses at the Valentine’s backdrop! Nestled in our rustic hay barn, you will meet baby Wayne and get the best snapshots of you sharing your love for Highland cows!
Sessions will be held on Saturday February 8th, 2025 between 10:00am - 11:00am. Reservation required.
